Annual Ride

Our annual cross-state ride is now held the last full week in February of each year. The dates for 2010 are February 20th to February 26th. Registration begins Saturday, February 20, 2010. Ride packets and membership forms will be mailed to current members (2009) and members of record for the year 2008 who do not have email. Email notices that the ride and membership forms have been posted to the website and are ready to be downloaded, completed and returned will be sent to all members of 2009 and 2008 for whom we have email addresses.    

The ride begins at a site just East of Bradenton, Florida, and ends in Ft. Pierce, Florida, a total of approximately 120 miles. Each day's ride is approximately 15 to 20 miles in length. The purpose of the ride is to draw attention to Florida's horse and cattle heritage. The ride travels a highway right-of-way and requires that we be at designated points along the way at certain times of the day. Riders and their horses should be conditioned for these requirements.

New packets for the 2010 ride will be posted no later than December.
